Connecting Community Through Creativity
The RADA Foundation hosts events, exhibitions, and fundraisers that celebrate the arts, uplift Asheville’s creative voices, and generate support for artists in the River Arts District.
Each event supports artists and fuels the mission of the RADA Foundation.
Every event is a chance to gather, give back, and experience the power of artistic connection.

Artways: Asheville Exhibition
The RADA Foundation, in partnership with the Asheville Poverty Initiative (API), is proud to announce the launch of Artways: Asheville, a new workforce development initiative that connects artists to education, professional development, exhibition opportunities, and long-term participation in Asheville’s creative economy.
Inaugural Exhibition, We Were Always Here, opens July 10 at the RAD Welcome Center.

Spring Studio Stroll

Come stroll the galleries and studios in The River Arts District! You will find open studios and demonstrations as well as an art market. Check out the art, the restaurants and other amazing businesses that call the RAD home!
Sip and Shop

A spring favorite returns! Stroll through the River Arts District and check out some amazing art while tasting local beverages in many of the studios and galleries in the RAD. Check out the art market in the Foundy area and stop in and check out the restaurants, bars in the RAD.
Pets and Paws

Walk the district with your furry friends! Artists in the district will be showing off their favorite pet pieces and providing treats and scratches for the pets. Come spend the day with your favorite furry friend and check out the amazing artwork found in The River Arts District.
