RADA FOUNDATION •
The RADA Foundation is helping rebuild Asheville’s River Arts District by supporting the artists who shape its soul. Through scholarships, shared space, and ongoing support, we are investing in the creative future of Western North Carolina.
The RADA Foundation looks to sustain and strengthen the River Arts District by supporting the artists who call it home. We provide direct services and essential resources to help artists create, connect, and remain rooted in place. We focus on three core pillars:
Scholarships for artists at all stages of their careers
Space solutions to help artists stay in the district
Support for RADA, serving over 750 artists

After Hurricane Helene, hundreds of artists lost their studios, tools, and income. Many are still displaced.
The RADA Foundation exists to ensure they are not left behind. Our programs are designed to keep artists in place, remove barriers to opportunity, and invest in the creative future of the district.
Grateful to The New York Times for covering Asheville and the River Arts District post-Helene, shining a light on what we’re facing. Link below.
